This is a real treat.
If you're looking for something a little bit special and different, then this coffee is it.
This is a micro-lot speciality coffee - grown on a plot which yields very low amounts of incredible tasting coffee.
Our friend Kamil at Kamba imports this coffee from Cerrado Mineiro Region, the original "Designation of Origin" in Brasil.
You get a very specific flavour profile from this region in Brasil; Chocolate, Lychee, Berry, Wine.
Key Coffee Information
We've also recently made our speciality ‘Barista Blend’ available to our online customers. Introduced last month, the coffee has been met positively with Marc stating, "has to be one of the best Barista coffee's I've had the pleasure of tasting."

]]>We've been asked a few times recently about coffee from some lucky folks who have an espresso machine at home.
They were not sure which coffees to try and which ones they would like. To help, we've bundled some of our most popular espresso blends into a coffee tasting pack.
With three bags of coffee in 250g, 500g or 1kg sizes available, these boxes are great value compared to buying the coffee separately.
No espresso machine or grinder? Don't worry, you can receive any grind you require.
We hope to be able to offer more tasting packs soon.

We have secured stock of the Aeropress which comes with it's own branded tote bag. Great for storage and keeping all the bits together.
We've also got some stock left of the Aeropress GO, a travel version of the famous coffee maker (see below).
As always, all Aeropress sales come with a bag of 250g of freshly roasted coffee, ground on the day especially for use in with the coffee maker!

As you’d expect at this time of year, Royal Mail is struggling to cope and there may be delays to your deliveries.
Christmas + COVID-19 means a significant surge in the volume of parcels being handled. We usually expect 3-5 working days or better, but it will vary by area and it could be delayed for longer and is outside of our control.
What we are doing:
- All coffee orders over 2kg are upgraded to Parcelforce deliveries. These will be delivered the next day if ordered by 10am. This has been standard practice since we started.
- We have added a £5 delivery option for deliveries under 2kg which is the additional cost for these parcels to be sent via the faster method.
- Update: We've now added a £1.50 Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hour Service. We feel this adds a better service to our customers.
- We will continue to investigate other postal options to improve the speed of deliveries and will communicate this if it is possible.
Any issues, then please do get in touch with us. Please include your name, email and order number.

We also have limited stock of decaffeinated pods.
The coffee inside is the same as in our standard pods.
The decaf is a fine blend of 50% Arabica and 50% Robusta beans and avoids the blandness of many decafs - there's a sweet aroma and a very elegant finish.
The highly rated standard pods offer a fine blend of South American, African and Central American Arabica coffee varietals, using both natural and washed processes. You'll find it well rounded, full bodied and the balanced acidity gives a soft, sweet finish.

He only lives round the corner, no problem.
However, not everyone has John 'the Coffee Man's' number.
We have added Nespresso (compatible) Capsule subscription to our offering.
Just one repeat order of £14.90 per month will give you 80 capsules (2 a day plus a few for socially distanced guests).
Our introductory promotional price is still going strong.
Avoid the awkward "we've run out" conversation by subscribing today.
It's going to be hot this August - try something new; espresso shot, over ice, with a slice of lemon. Very refreshing in the heat.

]]>We have had many questions about how we are conducting business during the COVID-19 crisis.
How we roast coffee
We are continuing to roast coffee for our customers. We have always ensured high standards of hygiene, and coffee is never handled directly by individuals. However, we've now put in new precautionary measures to ensure cleanliness.
Home coffee delivery
We are continuing to deliver coffee, so if you are working from home we can help you with freshly roasted coffee to start the day.
Coffee is roasted and ground to your specification - the right roast, grind and origin to suit your tastes.
For internet sales under 2kg, your coffee will arrive via Royal Mail. Otherwise, we use reliable couriers. Both will follow guidelines to leave product on your doorstep and avoid direct contact.
We've had some issues with Royal Mail delays due to demand over the Easter period, and are looking at different solutions.
To guarantee your deliveries, why not set up a monthly subscription?
Stay safe all.
John.
